Decaf coffee is a whole different animal, so we take extra care in roasting this coffee. We’ve been focusing on bringing in better tasting decafs by choosing origins we love and using higher quality coffees. This coffee comes from a group of producers in San Agustin, Huila, Colombia. The decaffeination process is also done in Colombia naturally, using fermented sugar cane (ethyl acetate).

El Meridiano exhibits high and low flavour notes, with just the right amount of creamy vanilla toffee in the base to balance out the bright fruit flavours.
This coffee is produced by members of the “Asociacion de Productores de Cafe Especial del Alto Saldana,” or ASOCEAS. Most of the growers are small holder producers, wet milling their coffee with small, sometimes hand cranked depulpers, traditionally fermenting coffee in tanks and drying on rooftops or in greenhouses. We’ve been buying coffee from the El Meridiano group for a number of years now; it’s always been one of our favourite coffees!

Ranging from 1850 - 2050 masl, Gitwe supports some 1,898 smallholder producers. Fig trees stand tall on either side of the hill, shading areas where Gitwe farmers are pioneering a way of irrigating their coffee by building water channels alongside their farms. The channels slowly irrigate their coffee trees and other crops; onion, sweet potato, maize, banana, cassava, beans and cabbage are grown alongside coffee. This coffee offers a dark berry and stewed fruit character, with the sweetness of canned peaches.

This cold brew takes its name from the famous Zamboni ice resurfacer. The Zamboni Company has a history of innovation in keeping cold things smooth. The family started in refrigeration over 90 years ago and as the popularity of ice skating rose, Frank Zamboni shared his ice-related talent by building the Iceland skating rink in southern California in 1939; later, he introduced the world's first ice resurfacing machine. Through Frank's persistence and commitment to the industry, Zamboni has become famous all over the world.
We hope that this cold brew can achieve some of the same goals. We want you to enjoy something that tastes smooth and delicious, and cools you down fast. This coffee is specifically sourced and roasted for the cold brew method. Consisting of Brazil Fazenda Colina, this coffee carries quite a milk chocolate sweetness which is perfect for cold brewing.
To brew this coffee the way we think you should ;) you'll need to use one whole bag (12oz) to 7 cups of water. Use a coarse grind (like for a french press) and steep in cold water in the fridge for 12-14 hours. Drain the brew and cut with 50% cold filtered water.

Clean, juicy sweetness with mild acidity, pleasantly balanced with medium body.
This blend is like one of the mixtapes you made for the person you really like-liked, but didn't know very well. It is balanced, a little bass-y and a little bright. The components meld together well, and most people will like it. We leave this blend open to change depending on the season, our offerings and what tastes yummy. It's a crowd pleaser, or it's for that special someone that you don't want to scare away with either Norwegian black metal or Jewel.

Staying true to our roots, this espresso blend is bright and glows with sweetness. In fact, we recommend wearing BluBlockers while extracting. The body of this blend is like syrup and the candy-coated finish lingers like a Manitoba windburn. We're working hard on our end to create something crazy delicious, and now it's in your hands--a bit of patience and some effort will make this espresso explode with flavour and complexity. Enjoy.
