FAQ
Why the name Dogwood? Is it because you like dogs? Does that even have anything to do with dogs?
Dogwood is a type of shrub or tree. There are several different types native to Minnesota / Manitoba that have interesting and varied seasonal beauty. It isn’t because we love dogs, but for the record, we do love dogs.
When will my coffee get roasted? Is it fresh?
We roast for online orders Monday-Tuesday. Everything is roasted to order, which means we don't keep roasted inventory here and your coffee gets to you as fresh as possible.

Will you grind my coffee?
Although it's best to grind your coffee right before brewing, we understand not everyone has access to a grinder. We can grind your roasted coffee as long as you indicate this at the time of ordering - leave a note with your order or reply to your confirmation email telling us you would prefer ground coffee. Also, let us know how you're planning on brewing it so we can grind it appropriately. If you forget to tell us you can always bring your bag over to the cafe and have the staff grind it for you.
